The Dan Post Franklin cowboy boot features an all-leather 11" shaft and a square toe. The dark brown leather shaft and sand mad cat leather foot combine for the perfect contrast in a cowboy boot. Comfort features include a Gel-Flex insole and full leather linings. The double stitched welt and 7/8" stockman heel give you the quality build you expect from Dan Post.

The Franklin is a rugged, yet refined boot with unfinished, sand mad cat leather for a distressed look. The ultimate gel-flex comfort system provides eva cushioning in high impact areas, a full-grain leather footbed lining to wick moisture, a full-grain leather heel pad cover, a steel shank for durability, a shank stabilizer for extra support, and fast, rebounding Poron® cushion that is anti-microbial.  Dan Post calls their widths D and EW, but since their EW is a 2E width we're just calling it a wide for you so there's less confusion.

Please note:Newer production runs of the Franklin feature a darker brown foot while previous inventory has more of a medium brown foot with a darker brown shaft.

Joke, return policy is a joke!

I am not a fan of their return policy. I bought a pair of boots for my husband and the first pair was too big, he tried them on and only walked across our floor, we boxed them back up and sent back for a smaller pair. The boots were rejected as “worn”!! This is ridiculous, he walked across the floor of our 700 sq foot home, took them off and we boxed them back up. Do not try to do a return with this company, they will not refund your money.

Dan Post Square Toe Soft Toe Boot

I had originally ordered a 16 2EW, not knowing how good the fit was going to be: I usually wear a 15 D, but it depends on the shoe company, the style, etc..

I found out, when the boots were delivered that they were DEFINTELY TOO BIG, so I called customer service and they were VERY HELPFUL in getting another size boot re-ordered (15 2EW),and sending me a shipping label to exchange the boots at no charge. I got the exchanged boots and they fit beautifully!!!
