The Carson is a 6" composite safety toe boot with extra depth for a roomier feel. The full grain tumbled black leather upper features an abrasion resistant protective heel. Comfort features include an ergonomic insole with contoured soft rebound foam, a suede tongue and padded comfort collar. This boot is also packed with safety like the composite toe, MXgrip slip and oil resistant outsole, and electrical hazard rating.

I'm glad I up-sized on the width for the Hoss Carson 6".
The composite toe box is very roomy in length, width and height and provides plenty of room for my hammer toes and bunions. Somehow, the 2E insole is comparable in length and width to my 19 D orthotics. How did they do that?
The boot is very deep and accepts BOTH the Hoss insole, my custom orthotics, and extra thick socks, and still remains roomy.
Boot seems well made. Let's see how long it supports this 295 pounder.
Wish the lace hooks and top eyelets were reverse position (hooks at the top).

I’ve been squeezing my Size 16 feet into neoprene waders and then into a size 16 wading boot for years. It doesn’t work too well, as you should have a boot 2 sizes larger than the neoprene booties. So, I bought these Size 18 boots from you guys, and all is right for my feet. Thank you! And my feet thank you.
