    1 year in

So im at a year with these boots as my daily wear. I work 5 days a week with these boots. Im not in the field anymore, so yhey are just office wear, but im very happy. I reviewed in january and mentioned the difficulty of the hooks and eyelets, as predicted i figured out a strategy. I dont pull the lace out of the eyelet, i leave bug loops and pull the loops, flip them.over the hook, and just pull thr end of the lace tight and tie as usual. Not an issue at all anymore. As also predicted, one of the boot loops let go and is broken. Theyve just felt a little weak from the start. However, the general wear and tread have been outstanding. I 100% recommend these. Still cant beat the overall quality for the price. I washed and conditioned them.over the weekend, so the condition can be seen in pics.

    Perfect fit!

Trying to find work boots to fit my husband is hard and finding some he likes is even harder. These were two thumbs up from him! Hoping the hold up well too!

    Decent, but uncomfortable

I would've figured dumping this much money into a pair of boots, they would be more comfortable. Honestly, if my Walmart boots were the same size as this pair, they would be a lot more comfortable. Had to spend an extra 30 bucks just for some gel insoles, I feel very ripped off.

    Outstanding for the Price

These boots are actually very impressive for the price point. The pull tab on the back of the boot could be a bit sturdier. Having an eyelet at the top of the boot and a single lace hook below is pretty ridiculous. This would be a perfect boot if I wasn't worried about ripping of the pull tab and didn't have to thread the laces every time I want to put them on. I'm getting used to both, and the boots seem really well made otherwise. They have great traction in wet/muddy conditions. They stay dry walking through puddles. I really like the rubber backing that wraps around the heal. Overall I'm very pleased. Despite a couple of critiques, I would definitely purchase these boots again based on 2 weeks worth of use. I'm curious how well these last. I've had the Carolinas, which are almost double the price, that lasted years of everyday use and never missed a beat. I've also tried the Dunhams, which fell apart after 5 months, and I'll never purchase again. These seem much closer in quality to the expensive ones than the useless ones. So far, these are a big hit. I like them a lot.
